I have created this blog for an upcoming work trip to Australia that will last approximately 7 weeks. Having sworn off Facebook, I needed a way to let friends and fans follow me (being a local celeb, I am kind of a big deal around here). Stay tuned as I fumble through this and attempt to document my trip to Oz.
I have chosen the name "res ipsa loquitur" for my blog from the Latin legal doctrine of the same name. I feel that the concept is fitting for most of my experiences and the photos that I share. Kinda like "it is, what it is..."
(rayz ip-sah loh-quit-her) n. Latin for "the thing speaks for itself," a doctrine of law that one is presumed to be negligent if he/she/it had exclusive control of whatever caused the injury even though there is no specific evidence of an act of negligence, and without negligence the accident would not have happened.
